Celebrate International Dance Day And World Art Day At The Boro Tysons

TYSONS, VA — The Boro Tysons invites Northern Virginians of all ages to kick up their heals on Saturday and help celebrate International Dance Day and World Art Day.

Seasoned dancers or newbies can strut their stuff on The Boro's dance floor or attend instructor-led salsa and bachata workshops, featuring live performances from Tysons Ballroom.

International Dance Day and World Art Day takes place from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, with a rain date for the same time on April 27.

Dance Workshops

• Salsa Workshop: 1:30-2 p.m.
• Dance Performance #1: 2-2:30 p.m.
• Bachata Workshop: 2:30-3 p.m.
• Dance Performance #2: 3-3:30 p.m.

The dance and art celebration will be at The Boro Tysons, which is located at 8350 Broad St. in Tysons. The event is free but registration is encouraged.

Children will have an array of activities to entertain them, such as designing a spring bouquet with the help of Array Floral or enjoying one of artisan popsicles from the Jarabe Gourmet Pops cart. Adults can also sample Spring Passion Fruit Cooler, one of the signature cocktail at The Sandlot.
