DC Summer Restaurant Week 2025: See Participating McLean Eateries

Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week kicks off on Aug. 18. McLean and Tysons eateries are taking part. See the list.

MCLEAN, VA — This year's Metropolitan Washington Summer Restaurant Week kicks off Aug. 18 and continues through Aug. 24. According to the event's website, participating restaurants will offer brunch for $25, 3-course lunch menus for $25/$35, dinners for $40, $55, and $65.

Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington hosts two restaurant weeks each year, one in the summer and the other in the winter, to highlight the diverse selection of dining options available in the DMV.

This year's sponsors include the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development, NBC Washington, Chase, Events DC, and Pepco Exelon Holding.

During Summer Restaurant Week, Thompson Restaurants will be offering special menus at each of its eateries:

  • Big Buns McLean (1330 Chain Bridge Road, McLean, VA 22101) is offering a $35 lunch menu for two menu. Diners can choose two Blackened Red Snapper Sandwiches or Wagyu Burgers, which come with two regular fries.
  • Matchbox McLean (1340 Chain Bridge Road, McLean, VA 22101) is featuring a three-course meal for $40. Diners can choose an appetizer, entrée and dessert. The menu also includes suggested wine pairings.
