Fairfax County EDA Receives Impact Award From Greater McLean Chamber
The Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce will present the FCEDA with its Collaborative Impact Award.

The award-winning Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA) is about to pick up another accolade.
The Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce will present the FCEDA with its Collaborative Impact Award during its Suits & Sneakers with Business and Community Awards program on October 4.

The Suits & Sneakers event, being held at The Pavilions at Turkey Run at the Claude Moore Colonial Farm in McLean, recognizes local restaurants and businesses as well as the work of community organizations.
Gerald L. Gordon, Ph.D., president and CEO of the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority, plans to accept the award.

“Much of the growth in the Fairfax County economy comes from the existing small and medium-sized businesses throughout the county,” Gordon said. “McLean is home to many of those businesses and they are exceptionally well-served by the Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce. Local chambers like this are integral components of the communities they serve. We are honored to be so recognized.”
