Neighbors are holding a fundraising campaign for the family of a McLean father who died in a house fire Monday morning.

MCLEAN, VA — Neighbors are holding a fundraising campaign for the family of a McLean father who died in a house fire Monday morning.
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue units responded to the fire in the 4000 block of Ridgeview Circle on Monday. While fighting the fire, a man was found dead in a bedroom of the home, according to police.
According to a GoFundMe campaign, Dan Easley, a father of three, died in the fire.

“As we mourn the tragic loss of Dan Easley, we want to stand together as a neighborhood & regional community to support Dan's three amazing children — Owen, Harper and Nathan,” the GoFundMe site says. "Please consider making a donation to support their Mom Emily as she navigates this new chapter for them and so they don't have to worry about the near-term and beyond."
The fire department has yet to announce a cause of the house fire.

“Let's stand together as a community and offer the Easley's our support and comfort as the children mourn the loss of their Dad and his house with most of their childhood belongings,” the GoFundMe campaign says.
