Henri Bendel Scheduled to Open in 2 Months

Just in time to cater to those frantic holiday shoppers, will be adding one more high-end retailer to the mix.

Henri Bendel, a luxury New York-based department store known for its iconic brown and white striped packaging, will throw open its doors in Virginia on Nov. 8, a spokeswoman for the company confirmed. The space will be 2,400 square feet.

Henri Bendel's flagship store is located on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, close to Central Park. The company's history dates back to the late 19th century, according to its website.

The store is also currently hiring part-time sales associates.
