How to Score a Free Shake Shack Burger Next Week

Love all things Shake Shack or are you just a sucker for freebies? You'll get your chance to nab a free Shake Shack hamburger next week.

Next Tuesday, August 16, Shake Shack is celebrating the opening of its 100th location worldwide with free "ShackBurgers" nationwide. This means every Shake Shack in the DC metro area (except Nats Park) will open at 10:30 a.m. and give away free Shackburgers (or another sandwich or equal or lesser value) to the first 100 guests. The celebration comes on the heels of the Boston Seaport Shake Shack opening next week, which marks the 100th Shake Shack location around the globe. Shake Shack first opened as a hot dog stand in Madison Square Park in 2004.
