McLean ABC Liquor Store Moving Location

McLEAN, VA -- The Virginia ABC Liquor Store at Chain Bridge Corner Shopping Center will close soon, in September, and reopen in a new location in McLean, according to a spokeswoman from the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.

The Virginia ABC store in McLean is moving into a larger location so that it will be able to offer a greater variety of products, which will include 98 bourbons, 57 brandies and cognacs, and a few premium scotches, the spokeswoman said.

The new location, slated to open in early September, isn't far, just across the street, at 1445B Chain Bridge Road at McLean Shopping Center. The ABC store will be located between McLean Hardware Store and the new Cava Grill coming to the shopping center.

Both shopping centers are owned by McLean Properties. No word on what will replace the ABC store at Chain Bridge Corner Shopping Center.
