McLean Area Hotel Named Among 50 'Best Hotels of the World'

Conde Nast Traveler readers voted on their favorite hotels worldwide. Read here what they said about this McLean area hotel.

McLEAN, VA -- You don't have to travel too far to visit one of the top 50 hotels in the world, as voted on by readers of Conde Nast Traveler magazine. The winning hotels range "from sprawling medieval estates to spare, modern marvels, and California-cool beach boutiques to sky-skimming towers," according to Traveler.

The readers voted for their top 50 favorite hotels across the world and among those are the Ritz-Carlton in McLean. Here's what they had to say about the hotel, which came in at #36 out of 50:

"If you thought upscale options were not to be seen beyond the narrow borders of Washington, D.C., you thought wrong. This Ritz-Carlton outpost in Northern Virginia sits adjacent to the Tysons Galleria, a luxury shopping mall, and offers first-rate amenities like a full-service Day Spa (Sparkling Champagne massage, anyone?) and a José Andrés-helmed tavern. It may not be around all the action—but if you’re looking for something a little more low-key, or planning a wedding, then this should be at the top of your list."
