McLean Woman's Club Gearing Up for 50th Annual Holiday Homes Tour
Tour tickets are now available at Mesmeralda's in McLean, Karin's Florist in Vienna and Great Dogs in Great Falls.

McLEAN -- With the selection of the homes and the printing of 1,000 tour tickets, the Woman’s Club of McLean is preparing for its 50th annual Holiday Homes Tour in December. Planning is underway for the decoration of the homes and the Homes Tour MarketPlace that will run concurrently. The tour is set for Thursday, Dec. 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The MarketPlace will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The tour will include a variety of houses, from a large historic Colonial in McLean’s center to elegant custom-designed homes on the north side of the community near Georgetown Pike and Swinks Mill Road. The MarketPlace -- at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1205 Dolley Madison Blvd. -- will feature holiday items, a variety of gifts, jewelry, home-made delicacies, lunch, vendors, tour tickets and a silent auction. There will be ample parking at the church.
The tour houses will be served by free shuttle buses leaving Trinity Church at 15-minute intervals. There will also be some parking spaces available close to the houses. Tickets for the tour are now available and are $25 until Dec. 1; after Dec. 1, tickets will be $30. They can be purchased at Mesmeralda’s Gifts of McLean, 1339 Chain Bridge Road; Karin’s Florist, 527 Maple Ave. East, Vienna; and Great Dogs of Great Falls, 9859 Georgetown Pike. They can also be bought at the MarketPlace and the tour homes on Dec. 1. A ticket is not required to visit the MarketPlace.
