McLean's New Lokl Gourmet: 'Like a Miniature Whole Foods'

McLEAN, VA -- Lokl Gourmet, which opened earlier this year at 8100 Old Dominion Dr., Suite E, in McLean, is getting some top-notch reviews from Yelpers.

Since it opened in January, the boutique gourmet shop specializing in local, fresh fare has earned five stars from 16 Yelp reviews.

The company started out (and continues to offer) its fare to customers at area farmers markets and as a caterer; it segued to bricks and mortar in January, to its Old Dominion Drive location (see map below).

The shop carries breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, squeeze-it-yourself orange juice, locally roasted Vigilante coffee, choice of a dozen different sandwiches, four different salads (with the option to add roasted chicken, avocado, feta or blue cheese) and you can also customize your choices. Juices and smoothies are also available.

You can pick up all sorts of interesting locally sourced items at this new deli, including things like Wagyu Beef Jerky from the Organic Butcher of McLean, according to Lokl Gourmet's Facebook page.
