MD Transportation Crews To Visit McLean For 495 NEXT Project: Report
Maryland transportation workers will be gathering data and conducting fieldwork in McLean for the 495 Next project, according to reports.
MCLEAN, VA — Maryland transportation officials will be in the McLean area this week as part of the I-495 Express Lanes Northern Extension Project that seeks to install improvements to the Capital Beltway from the American Legion Bridge and to I-270 in Montgomery County, Maryland, according to news reports.
Crews from the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will be in the McLean portion of the beltway conducting field work and gathering information Monday through Friday, according to the Gazette Leader.
MDTSHA workers will be dropped off and picked-up at Live Oak Drive and will be working the right-of-way on the Potomac Heritage Trail or near the Potomac River, officials told the Gazette Leader.
