Opening Soon? New Restaurant TenPenh Tysons Now Hiring
Pan-Asian eatery, which was previously doing business in DC from 2000 to 2011, could be opening soon in Tysons -- they're hiring.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Signs point to a highly anticipated new restaurant opening soon. Passion Food Hospitality's TenPenh Tysons began interviewing for positions this week, for hosts, servers, bartenders, runners, bussers, cooks and more.
TenPenh Tysons is expected to open in mid-November at Silverline Center 7900 West Park Dr., according to a report by Zagat. The restaurant gets its name from its original location at 10th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Passion Food Hospitality also operates District Commons, Burger, Tap & Shake, PassionFish, Penn Commons & Acadiana.
Here's what Zagat had to say: "Fans of the original will be thrilled to try the refreshed, reincarnated Pan-Asian restaurant from chef Jeff Tunks and his partners at Passion Food Hospitality five years after it closed Downtown. Located in Tysons Corner’s Silver Line Center development, the space will house various areas inspired by a Chinese courtyard, including a private room and a lounge, in which to showcase the Asian-American cuisine."

Eater DC reports the new TenPenh Tysons restaurant will open with a new format, "complete with a sushi bar, fire pits outside, and some contemporary changes to the menu."
Passion Food Hospitality – whose proprietors are chef Jeffs Tunks, David Wizenberg, and Gus DiMillo -- announced last December that they had signed a lease for 6,395 square feet of space at Washington REIT’s newly renovated Silverline Center in the heart of Tysons.

In addition to the future restaurant, the Silverline Center building offers extensive amenities including an all-new high-tech conference center, onsite fitness center and child care center, outdoor terrace and lounge, and an expansive skylit atrium with wi-fi and direct access to the below-grade parking garage.
“We are thrilled to welcome TenPenh to Silverline Center,” Washington REIT Senior Director Anthony Chang said in the announcement last year. “With these tenants in place, Silverline Center will not just be a great place to work, but also will become a local dining destination.”
