Next Great Falls Street Walkway Project Community Meeting Set for September 13
FCDOT will host a community meeting on the Great Falls Street Walkway project in Falls Church.

FALLS CHURCH, VA - The Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT) will host a community meeting to discuss the Great Falls Street Walkway from North West Street to Osborn Street project on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, 7 p.m., in the cafeteria of Haycock Elementary School, 6616 Haycock Road, Falls Church, Va. This project will construct a new curb, gutter, sidewalks and drainage improvements along Great Falls Street.
The initial scope for this project was to provide a sidewalk on the east side of Great Falls Street. Based on feedback received at a community meeting held on March 30, 2016, the county has evaluated locating the sidewalk on the west side of the street between North West Street and Woodland Drive. · FCDOT staff will present a preliminary design with revisions; and
· Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide input to help determine a preferred alternative.
