The girls told police they were both inappropriately touched by the man. They screamed, causing a dog to bark and the man to flee northbound on Chain Bridge Road.
The teens escaped and ran home to call police. The department said the girls were not injured.
Police say the suspect is an Asian man in his 20s, standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a "thin build and short hair."
