Capital Caring and Princess Sora Saud, granddaughter of former Saudi King, King Abdullah, provided a "princess for a day" experience for Hannah, a young girl whose mother passed away under the care of Capital Caring, earlier this year, according to the organization.

A private car picked up Hannah, her father, and her aunt at their Lanham, Md., home in early June and took them to Tyson's Galleria in Tyson's Corner, where the family enjoyed lunch with Princess Sora and her husband, Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal. After lunch, Hannah and the princess relaxed while getting their nails done in a local salon and ended their day together with some shopping in Tyson's Galleria.

Hannah's experience was provided via Capital Caring's bereavement program; the organization provides grief counseling and support services to families coping with loss.

"Capital Caring provides patients and their families with hope, courage, and connection. I am truly honored to support their charitable work," said Princess Sora. "Hannah is a remarkable young woman full of life and laughter. I am grateful for the opportunity to spend time with her."

"At Capital Caring, we pride ourselves on doing more for the families we serve and are committed to providing compassionate care to all those impacted when someone near and dear passes away," said Capital Caring President and CEO Malene Davis. "We are so thankful for Princess Sora's generosity of spirit and compassion for others. We appreciate all she did to provide Hannah and her family with memories they will carry for many years and to help Capital Caring continue providing the world-class service for which it is known to all those we serve."
