Teen Hospitalized After Pellet Gun Shooting In McLean: Police
A juvenile was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being accidentally shot with a pellet gun in McLean, police said.

MCLEAN, VA — A juvenile was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being shot with a pellet gun by another juvenile in McLean on Saturday, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
Police officers were dispatched to a home in the 6300 block of Georgetown Pike in McLean shortly before 1 p.m. on Saturday. When they arrived, they learned that a juvenile had been accidentally shot by another juvenile in the upper body by a pellet gun.
“The juvenile was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries considered life-threatening. The juvenile remains hospitalized,” Fairfax County Police said.

Police said they do not anticipate charges being filed in the case.
When the 911 call was made, there was “lots of screaming in the background,” FFXnow reported. A 13-year-old boy sustained a wound to the head from a pellet gun and was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital, according to FFXnow.
