MCLEAN, VA — Virginia Department of Transportation is hosting a public meeting Wednesday night to provide information about a temporary change that will improve traffic congestion at the Dead Run Drive and Georgetown Pike Intersection in McLean.

VDOT is proposing to restrict left-turns from northbound Dead Run Drive to westbound Georgetown Pike. This restriction will occur during peak travel periods. VDOT will be implementing this change in coordination with its 495 Express Lanes Northern Extension (495 NEXT) partners and Fairfax County.

The meeting will take place Wednesday, from 7-9 p.m., Churchill Road Elementary School Cafeteria, which is located at 7100 Churchill Road in McLean.
