Cheney Attends Elite McLean Party, Overturned Car Details

We Hear to Tell

The New York Post is covering the McLean social scene. The paper reported that ex-vice president Dick Cheney, who suffered five heart attacks, attended a pre-Christmas party to welcome Northrop Grumman CEO Wes Bush* to Virginia.

Site of party: The stunning home of popular McLean hostess Bobbie Kilberg. She's a former adviser to President Gerald R. Ford and President George Bush (the dad) so she has quite a phone book.

Kilberg, now president of the Northern Virginia Technology Council, also hosted Virginia Sen. Mark Warner. The Post reported that Cheney was seen using an oxygen mask to aid his breathing.

Kilberg denied Cheney wore a mask, The Post said. A Cheney rep added, “Not true. He’s doing fine."

Our neighbors the  Cheney's are spending the Christmas holidays in Jackson Hole. They'll probably pick up the property tax bills while they're there. That's where the property tax bills for their Langley Farms home are sent.
