Tickets On Sale For A Jazz Tribute to 100 Years of Disney At The Alden
"When You Wish Upon a Star: A Jazz Tribute to 100 Years of Disney" is coming to The Alden at the McLean Community Center on Nov. 4.

MCLEAN, VA — The house band of the National Jazz Museum in Harlem will be performing “When You Wish Upon a Star: A Jazz Tribute to 100 Years of Disney” at The Alden in McLean in November.
The concert will feature songs from movies like “Snow White,” “Lady and the Tramp,” “Mary Poppins,” “Toy Story” and “The Jungle Book.”
The house band of The National Jazz Museum in Harlem, a Smithsonian-affiliated museum, performs under the direction of pianist Sean Mason, who will bring the songs to life with two singers and a five-piece band.

Joining Mason will be singer Kim Nalley who has been named “Most Influential African American in the Bay Area,” and has performed with Rhoda Scott, David "Fathead" Newman, Houston Person and the San Francisco Symphony.
Vocalist Sasha Dobson has performed all over the world and is one-third of the hit trio Puss n’ Boots with Catherine Popper and Norah Jones.

The concert will take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4. Tickets are $30 for the general public, $25 for senior and students, and $20 for McLean Community Center district residents. The Alden is located at 1234 Ingleside Ave.
Built in 1975, the 383-seat Robert Ames Alden Theatre presents a full season of performances, lectures and educational programs for audiences of all ages.
