Tightening Race in Virginia's 10th Congressional District?
Democrat LuAnn Bennett is trying to unseat incumbent Congresswoman Barbara Comstock, a Republican.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Is the race tightening in the 10th congressional district race between Congresswoman Barbara Comstock, the incumbent Republican, and her opponent, Democratic challenger LuAnn Bennett?
The non-partisan newsletter, Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report, reports that the race in the district, held by Republican Frank Wolf from 1981 until he retired and Comstock won the seat in 2014, is tightening. The report, released Friday, shows the 10th District race as a "Toss-Up/Tilt Republican." That ranking sits between "Lean Republican" and "Democrat Favored."
The race is front and center in a story released Friday by The New York Times headlined: "House Republicans in Close Races Worry Trump's Problems May Hurt Them." (Read: Bennett Calls Comstock's Rebuke of Trump Too Late)

“If the Democrats have any prayer of taking the House, and I think it’s just a long shot, they’ve got to win this seat,” Thomas M. Davis III, a former Republican congressman who represented portions of Northern Virginia, told the newspaper.
On Friday, the Congressional Leadership Fund, a super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, announced it was going to spend an additional $10 million in 15 congressional district races, including Virginia's 10th district. The PAC says it will spend an additional $1.2 million for broadcast and cable TV and digital advertising starting Oct. 25, bringing their total investment in Comstock's race to $2.7 million.
