Meeting Tonight on Planned Increase in Dulles Tolls

Remember last year the folks who operate the Dulles Toll Road and Dulles and Reagan National airports raised the tolls by 25 cents.

Remember this was the first of three-years of toll increase to help pay for the new Silver Line from West Falls Church to Reston (and hopefully Dulles airport in our lifetime).

Tonight they want to talk to their customers. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is hosting its 2011 Dulles Toll Road Update to provide information to the public about the upcoming 25 cent main toll plaza increase, finances, operations and planned improvements to the Dulles Toll Road.

This public session will be conducted in an open house format. There will be informational exhibits and representatives from the Airports Authority available to discuss Dulles Toll Road revenue raised in 2011, future approved toll increases, planned road improvements and financing a portion of the Dulles Metrorail Project.
