Traffic Delays In McLean For Pipe Replacement Project: VDOT

MCLEAN, VA — Drivers should expect delays at the intersection of Maddux Lane and Tompkins Drive in McLean starting Monday, as the Virginia Department of Transportation conducts a stormwater pipe replacement project.

Between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, there will be one lane of alternating traffic at the intersection, VDOT said. Drivers should look for workers waving flags before proceeding through the intersection.

The work will be conducted as long as the weather allows, according to the department.

Residents and others needing to access homes in the neighborhood along Maddux Lane and Tompkins Lane should expect delays during the work.
