Triny's Tex-Mex Grill Closes in Great Falls

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Triny's Tex-Mex Grill has closed its doors in Great Falls, but if you're a Tex-Mex lover, have no fear. El Tio Tex-Mex Grill will reopen in the location sometime between February and March after some remodeling, according to an employee at the El Tio in McLean.

The Great Falls location, at 9835 Georgetown Pike at the Great Falls Center Shopping Center, will be its fifth location and will feature the same menu as the company's other locations. In addition to its McLean (at 1433 Center St.) location, El Tio also operates restaurants in Falls Church, Gainesville and Washington, D.C.

El Tio Tex-Mex Grill in McLean has earned 3.5 stars from 108 reviews on Yelp. The previous Triny's in Great Falls, which closed on Sunday, had earned three stars from 47 reviews on Yelp.
