Turkey Run Access To Close April 1 On Northbound GW Parkway
Access to Turkey Run Park from the northbound lanes of the George Washington Memorial Parkway will be closed temporarily starting April 1.

MCLEAN, VA — Motorists traveling northbound on George Washington Memorial Parkway won’t be able to access Turkey Run Park, starting April 1 and running through late April, weather permitting.
The temporary closure will allow for the demolition and paving of northbound lanes as part of the ongoing North Parkway Rehabilitation Project.
“During this time, Turkey Run loop will only be accessible from southbound GWMP,” according to the National Park Service. “Additionally, motorists traveling southbound on GWMP will not be able to use the Turkey Run loop to cross the parkway and access northbound GWMP. Motorists traveling on Turkey Run Loop Road will only have access to southbound GWMP.”
