Virginia Republicans Reveal Presidential Inauguration Ball Plans

Virginia Republicans have revealed their plans for their "All American Ball," an inauguration party planned for the eve before Donald J. Trump is sworn into office as the 45th president of the United States.

The Ball is "inspired by America’s heroes and is an opportunity for us to celebrate President-Elect Donald Trump and to honor our military veterans, law enforcement, first responders and other heroic men and women around our Commonwealth and our nation," according to a description from the Fairfax County Republicans.

The All American Ball is scheduled for 8 p.m. to midnight Thursday, Jan. 19 at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill. Early-bird tickets are $225 and will go up to $350. Tickets include a reception-style buffet and full hosted bar (all drinks included). A large block of complimentary tickets has also been reserved for major supporters, wounded warriors and other honored guests.

The inaugural ball will feature five areas of entertainment and attractions; nine bands will perform and DJs will be on hand presiding over four dance floors. In addition, the party will feature a comedy show and strolling entertainers.

People who want to attend the 2017 inauguration the next day and sit in reserved seats can apply for free tickets through your U.S. Senators or members of Congress. You can also attend the inauguration without a ticket by standing along the parade route or near the Capitol in non-reserved areas.
