Weekend: Best Brunch in McLean? Yelp Reviewers Love These Restaurants

McLEAN, VA -- Making weekend plans? How about kicking things off with some great coffee and delicious entrees with family and friends? Here's a look at McLean's top brunch spots based on Yelp reviewers favorites:

• J Gilbert’s Wood-Fired Steaks & Seafood, 6930 Old Dominion Dr.; Hailey R says: "I LOVE this place. It has a beautiful atmosphere, fantastic food and wonderful service. Being gluten free, a steak place is usually a good indication there will be plenty of options on the menu, but their gluten free menu is pretty much their entire menu (minus a few things), which is always a welcome surprise."
• Earls Kitchen + Bar, 7900 Tysons One Pl.; Shannon A. says: "I've been to Earl's twice now and am quite fond of it. 3 star food but 4 star atmosphere- maybe it was because of my company..? But nonetheless, I've only been for brunch and their brunch menu is tiny but tasty! I'd love to see them expand it."
• McLean Family Restaurant, 1321 Chain Bridge Road; B.N. says: "Possibly the best diner I have been to. Great for breakfast, brunch, coffee meetings and dinner (adult beverages optional). The service is great and it can get busy at times here, but getting a table has never been any trouble. This is the best coffee spot in Mclean."
• Simply Fresh, 6811 Elm St.; William says: "Rana, the owner, is very warm and gracious. I had breakfast-a cappuccino with Palmiere pastry which was delicious.The cappuccino, made with Illy coffee, reminded of the cappuccinos I had in Rome! Bravo!!!"
• Harth, 7920 Jones Branch Dr.; Jenn K. says: "2nd visit here and have to say, the warm apple tart with ice cream was amaaazing here! The best thing we ordered here yet! Still dreaming of it over a week later. By comparison I got the most tiny little sliver of flourless chocolate cake for $10 that just "meh" (not worth it). I really wished I could have exchanged it for a second tart instead! Also worth noting, after checking in on Yelp to get the free bacon jam our waitress went through extra effort to ensure both of us got a free little jar! Very nice indeed."
