Girl Scouts in McLean are going door to door now selling Girl Scout cookies.

Local Girl Scouts were able to sell to friends and family members as early as December, but door-to-door sales did not start until earlier this month.

Girl Scouts will be selling cookies at several locations and events throughout McLean from Feb. 22 through March 24, so you can stop by a cookie sales booth if you miss your neighborhood Girl Scout.

Girl Scout cookies are $4 per box this year, up from $3.50 per box. Each Girl Scout troop gets to keep 50-cents from every box sold.

The new cookie this year—mango crème—is not available in Virginia.
