Cell Phone Stolen from Woman Waiting for Bus in Mount Vernon Area: Police
Police say a man grabbed the woman and took her phone while she was waiting for a bus Thursday morning in the Mount Vernon area.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A man grabbed a woman at a bus stop and took her phone Thursday morning in the Mount Vernon area, according to Fairfax County Police.
The incident took place at about 8 a.m. Thursday at a bus stop near Tamarind Street and Janna Lee Avenue (see map below). A woman reported that while standing at the bus stop, a man grabbed her, took her phone, and ran off, according to police.
The suspect was described as Hispanic, 24 to 28 years old, approximately 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 9 inches, and 130 to 160 pounds, according to police. The victim did not require medical attention.
