• 20 Skimming Devices Found In Widespread Search In Fairfax County: See List (patch.com) — A credit card skimming device was discovered at the 7-Eleven on Mount Vernon Highway, one of 20 such devices found across Fairfax County in a recent police sweep. Investigators, working with the U.S. Secret Service, are still seeking suspects and urge residents to closely inspect card readers, cover PINs, favor well‑lit locations, and promptly report any suspicious payment terminals.
