Craft Fair, Home for Dinner Walk, Ride the Turkey Train and More Events this Weekend

Get Crafty. The Fourth Annual Handmade Holiday Craft Fair is this weekend at T.C. Williams High School. The fair is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the school on 3330 King St. The fair raises money for Hearts and Hands, an organization that builds schools and promotes economic improvements in Kenya and Tanzania, according to their Facebook page. 

Home for Dinner. The Lorton Community Action Center is hosting their Service Stroll from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at the Workhouse Arts Center on 9601 Ox Road in Lorton. Take a walk at the arts center then drop in for the Home for Dinner Exhibition, which features the work of local elementary school students. Their works detail what “home for dinner” meets for them, according to the LCAC’s website. Register online. 

Two Pieces. Catch an early show, or take your time on that tough commute. Andrew Belle + Leagues perform two shows Friday night. Rock Royalty. Lisa Marie Presley brings her Southern rock sound to the Wolf Trap. The performance is sure to include music from her 2012 release, “Storm & Grace.” $40. 8 p.m. Saturday. The Barns at Wolf Trap, 1635 Trap Road, Vienna. See the complete Wolf Trap schedule.

Voices on the Stage. The audience at the Workhouse this weekend will get a special preview of the latest work from playwright God’s Boo. Thankful Little Engine. Thanksgiving is just around the corner and Lake Fairfax Park is offering an early dose of family fun. Kids can Ride the Turkey Train, learn Native American hunting skills and make a Thanksgiving craft to take home. $5. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. 1400 Lake Fairfax Drive, Reston. All Over the Map. Music students and enthusiasts are going to get quite the lesson this weekend. World Blues at George Mason University features music legend Taj Mahal, performing soulful tunes from across the globe with some friends.
