Home Invasion Robbery Reported at Mount Vernon Area Apartment: Police
Police say the suspect entered an apartment, implied he had a weapon and robbed the resident.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police report there was a home invasion robbery Wednesday morning in the Mount Vernon area.
Police say a man entered an apartment Wednesday morning at about 11:30 a.m. in the 8500 block of Sky View Drive (see map below), told the resident he had a weapon and demanded cash. The victim was not injured, police said.
The suspect was described as black, approximately 21 years old, wearing all-black clothing and fluorescent green shoes, according to police.
