Man Punched on the Street in Mount Vernon Area After He Refuses to Give Up Pizza: Police
Police say the man was walking alone Saturday night carrying a pizza when another man demanded he hand it over.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A man carrying a pizza was punched Saturday night after he refused to hand over the pizza to another man walking in the 8500 block of Hyman Way (see map below), according to Fairfax County Police.
The attempted robbery took place at about 8:23 p.m. The victim was walking alone, carrying a pizza, when the suspect approached him and demanded that he hand over the pizza, police said. The victim refused and the suspect punched him. The victim still refused to give up the pizza, so the suspect ran away, police said.
Police said the suspect was black with a light complexion and a thin build and appeared to be in his 20s. Police say the victim did not require medical attention.
