Mount Vernon Crossfit Celebrates Grand Opening Saturday
Mount Vernon's first CrossFit gym will host workouts for those interested.
Mount Vernon CrossFit will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday.
Guests will have the opportunity to tour the gym and ask questions. Community members will have the opportunity to try CrossFit workouts that morning. The Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce will be on hand for the grand opening later that morning.
Owner Sean Dunston opened Mount Vernon CrossFit on Dec. 1. He says that business has been going well since its opening.

“It’s been going well. We’ve been increasing membership steadily,” Dunston said. “We started at zero and we’re at about 20 now.”
Those interested in signing up for workouts must RSVP to Sean Dunston by calling 703-624-3734 or by emailing him through Mount Vernon Crossfit’s website. Workout slots are on the half hour from 9 a.m. to noon.

The grand opening will take place Saturday at noon at Mount Vernon Crossfit, located behind Bestway Supermarket at 8459 Richmond Hwy.
