Mount Vernon High School to Dedicate IB Wall of Seven

The Wall of Seven is a testament to students' hard work and drive.

On Thursday, the Fairfax County School Board will read into the official record a resolution to dedicate the wall in the main lobby of Mount Vernon High School to Elizabeth (“Betsy”) Parker Calhoon, the first International Baccalaureate Coordinator at  the school.

The “IB Wall of Seven” bears the names of MVHS students who earned a perfect score of seven on an IB exam.

"We believe it is fitting to designate this wall officially as the “Elizabeth Parker Calhoon Wall of 7” in her memory and to recognize her leadership in this program," Media Liasion Dan Coast said in an email.
