Links to Freedom has been designated a charity with the Wells Fargo Championship this spring at the TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm in Maryland. This $9M purse golf tournament will be in the metro-DC area from 4-8 May 2022.   

Today, we are asking any and all of our followers, friends and Links to Freedom participants to support the Links to Freedom Foundation by purchasing their golf tournament tickets through our designated links.

All proceeds from these links/ticket sales support an injured, ill or wounded Warrior enrolling in our Links to Freedom curriculum golf instructional program, taught by PGA and LPGA professionals.  

The Links to Freedom Foundation is one of the nation’s leading therapeutic golf programs.  We are proud of our 9 programs in 7 states with over 4000 warriors (including 800 women) and their families having completed the course En route to becoming Links to Freedom members for life.     

To teach a warrior or his/her family to play golf, it costs Links to Freedom approximately $1000/student.  Purchasing your Wells Fargo Championships tournament ticket through our designated links enables the Links to Freedom Foundation to host more Warriors in our program at no cost to the Warrior. 

L2F enjoys a fabulous record regarding suicide prevention focusing on teaching our disabled and active military community (including PTSD/TBI) the game of golf as a gift for life.  

The Links to Freedom Foundation very much appreciates the Wells Fargo Championship team supporting America’s Heroes.  WFC has “leaned forward in the foxhole,” to take care of our military and Veteran community at this wonderful golf tournament.
