Photo: C-SPAN Bus Visits Mount Vernon High School

Mount Vernon High School students had the opportunity to participate in C-SPAN's Washington Journal call-in program Monday morning.

A group of students called in to the Washington Journal to discuss the impact of sequestration. Government Executive Magazine Editor-in-Chief Tom Shoop was the featured guest that morning.

The C-SPAN bus visited Mount Vernon High School as part of its tour to promote a new original series called First Ladies: Influence and Image, airing on Monday nights at 9 p.m.
