Subway Opening Soon at Beacon Mall Shopping Center

Alexandria residents will soon welcome yet another Subway location along the Route 1 corridor.

A new Subway is set to open soon at the Beacon Mall Shopping Center. The sandwich shop will take up the space where Sunflower Florist was once located until this summer. The flower shop relocated to Huntington Station Shopping Center in September.

Subway will join neighboring tenants Panera, State Farm, Marshalls, newcomer Zinga and HomeGoods, which is scheduled to open Oct. 27. An official opening date for the new Subway is not yet known. The Subway website lists the location as "opening soon." Signs on the door of the space also read "coming soon."
