• NKBOS approves $61,500 sewer pipes repair for Patriots Landing - (nkccnews.com) — New Kent supervisors have approved an emergency $61,500 repair to failing sewer pipes along Patriots Landing Place after erosion threatened the line, tapping county emergency funds to move quickly. Utilities staff said pursuing litigation against the developer would delay work and potentially worsen the hazard, so the board unanimously backed immediate repairs to stabilize the area and protect nearby infrastructure.
