For the week ending Nov. 16, there were seven and two major incidents included in the Fair Oaks District Activity Report. Fair Oaks District encompasses Oakton.

Forgery/Obtain Money by False Pretense/Arrest: Loss prevention employees of the Target store, located at 13047 Fair Lakes Shopping Center called police around 3:20 p.m. on Nov. 10 for three men purchasing items with counterfeit traveler’s checks. Officers initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle the three suspects were leaving in. An investigation led to their arrest. Daryl D. Evans, 22, of Hillside, New Jersey was charged with obtaining money by false pretense and two counts of forgery. Qwaine Mondesir, 19, of Brooklyn, New York was charged with two counts of obtaining money by false pretense and four counts of forgery. Najee Johnson, 20, of Hillside, New Jersey, was charged with four counts of forgery.
Robbery: A 24-year-old man was robbed while inside the PNC Bank, located inside Giant Food at 13043 Lee Jackson Memorial Highway. On Friday, November 11 around 2:30 p.m. the man was sitting inside the bank with an employee counting out money. An unknown man entered the bank, pushed the victim and took his cash from the desk. An investigation determined the male suspect was working with a female suspect who was waiting outside the store. The male suspect was described as black, 25 to 35 years old. He was about 6 feet tall and 200 to 250 pounds. He was wearing a blue “Yankees” hooded sweatshirt, light-colored blue jeans with white, cursive writing on the front pocket and a ball cap under his hood. The female suspect was described as black, 25 to 30 years old. She was about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 140 to 150 pounds. She was wearing a black pea coat, blue jeans and a white V-neck shirt.

- 13200 block of Leafcrest Lane, bicycle stolen from residence
- 13600 block of McLearen Road, money stolen from school
- 13900 block of Metrotech Drive, X-box movies stolen from business
- 12100 block of Monument Drive, purse stolen from business
- Rockpointe Drive/Quartz Lane, tools stolen from vehicle
- 2600 Steeplechase Drive, cash stolen from residence
