Patrick Tallies 200th Win with Flint Hill

Jody Patrick has coached the Huskies girls basketball team since 2001

When the Flint Hill girls basketball team defeated Sidwell Friends on Wednesday, Jody Patrick reached 200 wins as head coach of the Huskies.

Patrick joined the Flint Hill as head coach in 2001.

Patrick's daughter Shea, a senior on the team, announced her mother's achievement in the locker room after the game.

"It was truly a special moment to share with Shea," Patrick said.

But 11 seasons and 200 wins into her Flint Hill career, Patrick remains humble.

"I am just glad I got to 200 wins before I got to 200 losses!" Patrick said.

As Patrick tallied her 200th win, the Huskies improved their record to 11-5 on the season and 4-1 in the Independent School League. Patrick will go for win No. 201 when the Huskies travel to Holton-Arms for a 5:45 p.m. tip-off Friday.
