Providence District Food Drive Seeks Donations During The Holidays
Providence District Food Drive is accepting non-perishable food and household items to help stock two high school pantries for the holidays.

OAKTON, VA — Both the Providence District Office and the Providence Community Center are teaming up with area homeowners associations to collect non-perishable foods and household essentials during the holiday season.
Through Dec. 15, residents are encouraged to donate items from the lists below. Donations may be dropped off 9 a.m.-5 p.m., at the Providence District Office, which is located at 3001 Vaden Drive. Residents should also check to see if their HOA is accepting donations.
The Providence District Food Drive benefits the pantries at Oakton and Falls Church high schools.

Volunteers are also needed on Monday, Nov. 21 at the Oakton High School Pantry to receive meals from donors and distribute the meals to food insecure community members. More information about this volunteer opportunity and how to sign up is available online.
