House seat (ffxnow.com) — Residents in parts of Oakton will likely be represented by Gretchen Bulova in Virginia’s 11th House District after she won Tuesday’s fast‑organized Democratic firehouse primary. The district, which includes sections of Oakton, saw just 1,188 voters turn out across three polling sites. A special election is set for Jan. 13, with normal voting hours at regular precincts.
