Updated: Power Restored at ACPS Central Office

12:08 p.m. update — According to a tweet from Alexandria City Public Schools, power and Internet services have been restored at the central office.

Due to a power failure, the Alexandria City Public Schools central office, at 2000 N. Beauregard Street, is closed until further notice.

Power is not expected to be restored prior to 2 p.m.

Central Office employees should contact their supervisors regarding alternate work locations.

ACPS email to and from all ACPS locations is offline until power is restored.

All schools are open and operating on normal schedules.
