Alexandria Pet Of The Week: 6-Month-Old Needs Some TLC
This 6-month-old girl has some growing to do, and she'd love to spend her formative years with a loving family.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria has pets of all ages that need homes.
One of its younger residents is Paisley, a 6-month-old pup that still has some growing to do. She'd do well in a loving home that can be patient with training and building confidence.

Sweet Paisley is a 6-months old with a wavy black coat and currently weighing 24 pounds, with plenty of growing left to do! Paisley spent the first part of her life alongside her brother and sister and can still be a little shy meeting new people and in new surroundings. For that reason, Paisley will do best in a home with another social dog to help her build confidence and show her the ropes. With a little bit of patience and support, Paisley will thrive into an amazing pup. So if you and your pup are looking for a companion to join the family, consider stopping by to say hello to Paisley!
The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria's calendar pet contest is wrapping up on June 30, so there's still time for fundraising.
