Alexandria Pet Of The Week: Senior Dog's Adoption Fee Covered
Royal Restaurant is sponsoring the adoption fee for Molly, a gentle senior dog who is motivated by treats.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — At the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, the adoptable animals include senior dogs seeking homes to live out their golden years.
One of the adoptable dogs is Molly, who her fosters describe as the "Dairy Queen" for her love of cheese. She knows her basic commands — in return for a treat, of course — and enjoys a laid-back lifestyle. Royal Restaurant is covering the adoption fee for Molly this month.

Molly is ready and waiting for a cozy new home! This 8-year-old girl is seeking a friend to unwind with and share a laid-back lifestyle. She will steal your heart and your comfiest pillow. Molly is 50 pounds of sweetness, fueled by treats and her favorite chew sticks. She is especially fond of cheese, and her foster family describes Molly as a “Dairy Queen." This senior lady can be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly and takes treats politely. She is an avid snuggler and wiggles like a worm to make her foster family laugh. Molly even knows her cues for sit, paw, and down. This smart girl is curious about the world and loves a sniffy walk around the neighborhood. If you are looking for a companion to encourage you to explore your community, Molly could be your answer. Her foster family reports that Molly is gentle, loyal, and a good listener. Meet this well-behaved senior at the Royal Restaurant from 6-7:30 pm this Thursday, August 21st. The Royal Restaurant has generously sponsored Molly’s adoption fees this month.
