Alexandria Pet Of The Week: A Social Senior Companion
Senior dog Shyla is shy in name only. This adoptable girl is friendly with other dogs and people alike.

One of these adoptable seniors from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria is Shyla, whose social personality doesn't match her name. She gets along well with dogs and humans alike.

"Meet Shyla, a social senior looking to settle into her permanent home. At 12 years old and 63 pounds, Shyla is spry and interested in exploring the world around her. She gets along well with other dogs and would love to be praised and petted every day by her human fan club. Shyla enjoys mealtimes and wouldn’t say no to an “extra” treat or three to tide her over! This golden girl is ready to get comfortable by your side."
