Death Of Man With Gunshot Wound Investigated In Alexandria

Alexandria Police say the man was found unresponsive in an apartment Tuesday morning.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A death investigation is underway after a man was found Tuesday afternoon in the West End, according to Alexandria Police.

Around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 5000 block of Seminary Road for an unresponsive man. Police found the adult man dead inside an apartment. Police said the man had an apparent gunshot wound.

The cause of death remains under investigation. A medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
