Alexandria School Closed Monday Due to Power Outage
Authorities said in an alert early Monday that the school will be closed due to a power outage.
ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The T.C. Williams Minnie Howard campus is closed today Monday, May 2, due to an area-wide power outage, according to Alexandria City Public Schools.
The school is located at 3801 W. Braddock Road in Alexandria.
"Teams were on the scene all night attempting to restore power but have not been able to complete the work," the school system said early Monday in an alert.

The power outage map for Dominion notes there are six customers out of power Monday in Alexandria due to an "equipment fire" and says to expect power to return sometime before 8 a.m.
