Volunteer Fairfax recently unveiled a new DonateNow! Database enabling individuals to find nonprofit organizations that are in need of in-kind donations. The database is searchable by type of donation and by nonprofit mission area. For example, there are currently about 240 needs registered through the Volunteer Fairfax DonateNow! Database.
To view DonateNow! visit www.volunteerfairfax.org, click “Individuals” and then “Donations Guide.” The group also offers a donation planning kit which provides a guide for planning and organizing your own donation drive.
