Bicyclist Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries After Being Struck By Vehicle

Alexandria Police are investigating a Wednesday morning crash involving a bicycle and a vehicle.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A bicyclist was struck during a crash in Alexandria Wednesday morning, according to police.

The crash involving a bicycle and vehicle happened around 7:05 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Eisenhower Avenue at Metro Road. Police say the bicyclist was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene.
